There is the unused platform 1 at Box Hill – it was built with the current station in the 1980s as part of the grade separation of the Station Street level crossing, then taken out of use afterwards.

That’s correct – the LCD screens replaced the CRTs in mid-2019.

From memory, Box Hill was the only station with that CRT system outside the city loop. It always looks like Box Hill is half finished, designed to have many more platforms.
